Installation of pre-established coir rolls at Brookside, Wellington for Connexus House. In conjunction with fascines, these were used to restore eroded embankments adjacent to the water course delivering immediate vegetation coverage.
Once the vegetation colonises and the coir has fully degraded, the wetland plants will provide a long-term cover. This will reduce the erosion of the embankment.
